"What's the Matter?"

Today we had a special visit from a real scientist!  "Jungle Jeff," a scientist from the High Touch-High Tech science program came to teach us more about matter!  After reviewing all the wonderful information students already knew about matter, Jungle Jeff engaged the children in a number of exciting, hands-on activities and experiments.  Through these activities, students reinforced their understanding and knowledge of properties of matter, types of matter (solids, liquids, and gases), and the molecules that make up matter.  Look at the pictures below to see students having fun while they learn!
